It’s Ok

If you are ever around me for a time you will most likely hear me say the term “It’s ok”. I wasn’t aware of how often I said that phrase until I had a little girl who is my mini me. I noticed months ago that after any accident happened or if something didn’t go as planned, she would say, “it’s ok” with a cute little smile. Then my husband tells me one day, “You know, she gets that from you”. Once he pointed it out I realized that I do say that at least once a day or more.

Because really, I feel like in every area of my life, any circumstance that comes my way, the response, “It’s ok” is always fitting. This to me is a statement of faith and comes from a place of peace and calm no matter what is happening. Even when everything doesn’t seem ok, I know deep down that it will eventually be ok again. And deep, deep down I believe it will be even better than ok at some point.

The Bible tells us that all things work together for those who love Him. I believe His word to be true so I hold Him to His word. I love Him with everything in me.

He is a good dad, and good dads make everything ok again.

Eventually it will all work together for good. Even the horrible situations are used to bring good. He doesn’t cause the bad, but He makes good come from it. There’s such a peace in knowing this truth.

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28

This is a scripture quoted often by Christians because lets face it, it makes anyone feel good. This scripture holds true, however, only for those who truly love and seek after Him.

So lets be encouraged today. No matter what things may look like in the natural, it will all work together for good. It will be ok! So many are struggling with fear and anxiety, yet, grabbing hold of this truth would set so many free. Let it be today.

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us” Ephesians 3:20

Our Lord can do exceedingly more than we could ever hope or dream.  Let’s have peace in the knowing that our daddy will always take care of us.
