These days I truly live life full of creativity and love for Jesus. My life, however, has not been one void of heartache. Losing our daughter, Eden Grace, at 32 weeks truly changed my life forever. It was then that I looked for Jesus in the midst of sorrow and found Him in a very real and tangible way. Since that time, I continue to give God my ashes and He trades me beauty just as He promised. After losing Eden, I wrote + illustrated a children’s book in her honor called “The Lost Crown”.
I love being home, on our little 4 acre farm, gardening, baking bread, loving on our farm animals, and homeschooling our children–Cadence(10) Zion (8) and our sweet foster girl who is 5. Teaching them at home is my biggest ministry and delight. We live in a 1940’s farmhouse that we have been restoring one project at a time for four years now. Here you will find pieces of faith, homeschool, design, and all things home and garden. Thanks for following along!
Whether facing the loss of a loved one, a divorce between parents, or a personal tragedy that leaves one feeling hopeless and alone, this book was written to help children start the path to healing.
