Over the years if something great seemed like it could possibly happen I would catch myself saying, “oh that would be too good to be true”. On many occasions I was afraid to daydream or get too excited about something.
But, over time I feel like the Lord just kept pouring His love on me. Making His love and hand over my life so evident that I couldn’t deny it.
Now, Even if I have to force out a statement of faith, I do. I know now how much impact our words have on things.
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” Proverbs 18:21
I was sitting by the water spending time with Jesus when a song that I had heard numerous times really spoke to me more than ever before. It’s a song called “Let it happen” by United Pursuit.
You’re full of life now
Full of passion
It’s how He made you
Let it happenAnd He calls each one of us
By our name
To come away
And He whispers to your heart
To let it go
And to be alive
So take me back, back to the beginning. Back when I was young running through the fields with you. Make us like children. Take us back, back to the beginning…
I was instantly taken back to thoughts of childhood. I remembered the feelings of innocence, dreaming, and believing anything is possible.
As adults it is so easy to let life’s circumstances get in the way of being free, passionate, and full of belief such as children.
“Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. ” Matthew 18:3″
Let’s get back to a place of being childlike.
Believe it can happen.
Believe He has the best in store.
Believe that whatever promise you’re waiting on will come to pass.
Believe that life really can be that good.
We can be blessed financially. We can be living out our dreams and passions. We can have a solid, loving marriage and so much more.
It’s really not too good to be true. It’s how He made us to live!!!
Let your light so shine. Live a life that makes people wonder what you have. Live a life worth modeling after; a life that gives out more than it takes in.
A life so full of His love.
Of course, being personally blessed shouldn’t be our main ambition. We shouldn’t live a self- seeking lifestyle.
We don’t become Christians for what the Lord can give us or do for us. We become Christians to be transformed into His image–to live a life as close to how Jesus lived as possible.
But the thing is, once we are on the journey of being transformed to be more like Him, He, being the amazing daddy that He is, just turns around and blesses us.
He loves to amaze us, to work things together for good.
May I inspire you to choose to live the life He intended for you to live. A life full of passion, excitement, wonder, joy, and peace… it’s yours! All you have to do is trust Him with your life. ❤
